Against this background, DPA Invest’s founding partners have elected to focus primarily on the development of modern asset allocation techniques, which would be both reactive to valuation cycles and more protective for investors. These techniques have proven well-suited for the management of portfolios with long investment horizons tailored to the needs of investors with different levels of risk aversion.
1/ Management of diversified Mutual Funds. Since July 25th 2006, DPA Invest has become a full-fledged fund manager, regulated by the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). Its first fund, DPA Gestion Privée, is an investment vehicle well-suited for individual investors with a multi-year investment horizon and a limited appetite for risk.
2/ Sub-advisory activity with other asset managers. A partnership between DPA Invest and La Française des Placements, (LFP), one of the most dynamic and innovative asset managers in Paris gave birth to LFP Allocation, a fund with a successful three-year track record and assets under management in excess of €800 million (as of December 2007).
3/ Asset allocation and risk management advisory services for institutional investors. In this capacity, initially its main activity, DPA Invest has advised or produced analytical research for various institutional investors, including the Fonds de Réserve des Retraites (FRR) and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).
